Jean's Story
What did that Jeannie Manthei end up doing? She left school so suddenly? My goodness. . .. Went to Judson in 1965-66 and then transferred to La Chatelaine in St. Blaise/Neuchatel in 1966-67 and finished that year in Connecticut. Then came back to Judson in 1967-68 and left in January of 1968 for some personal reasons. Didn't graduate with my class. Came back the following year and was thrown out and finished high school at West Phoenix High School in January 1969 while living at the former women's dean of Judson and her family. I started out my life with seeming one tragedy after another.
I ended up going to City College of San Francisco (1969 to 1971) and transferring to Lone Mountain College in S.F. between 1971-1973 and graduated in psychology in 1973. Then a mysterious life on disability. I went back to graduate school in 1988 and became a drug and alcohol co...Expand for more
unselor and LPC. Have been working at that since 1993 and it's an excellent field and have had the good fortune to meet a lot of people who have turned their lives around and climbed out of deepends and tragedies as well.
I snap pictures for a hobby (Click photos and view pics from Jeannie's sandbox and playpen). I have a life outside of my work. And after the smoking corral in high school and years of tobacco consumption I managed to quit (and believe me that was more difficult than getting an education).
