Jean's Story

Life I live in NYC with my husband Alan and our two sons, Andrei and Sasha. As Mr. Haggerty used to say in Algebra, some of us are late bloomers. We adopted our sons from Moscow in 1993, becoming parents at a time when many of my Class of '67 pals were becoming grandparents. I am recently reunited with my birth daughter Shelia who lives with her family in Binghamton. I placed her for adoption at the time of her birth in 1969 and found her in 2012. re.0 NYC has been home since 1979. After many years of adjusting to big city life I am at happy to be here. I worked as an Occupational Therapist and am now retired. I continue to swim and practice yoga, enjoy handwork with beads and yarn and reading. I live in the Bronx about 5 miles from where Dion and the Belmonts began with "I'm a Wanderer" and "Runaround Sue" My life is good. I am grateful for my many blessings. Hello to everyone I know.
