Jeanette's Story
Life
I'm a musician, I play kbds & guitar, sing lead & back up. I've been in a number of bands playing all kinds of music from Rock to Country to jigs & reels. One of the bands I was in, Street Magic, went on the road, did some studio recording & also made a video.
I finished a course in composing for the media, and have been selling some music online. I don't play live as much as I used to but still write and record occasionally in my studio. I live a busy, but happy life.
Workplace

ing, sorting fabrics in a warehouse in Calgary, computer consulting, volunteer coordinating, and owning a second hand CD store.
As a musician I've played in a number of bands over the last 40 years. I've done the road thing, the studio thing, and the video thing. I spent 4 years as Production Mgr of a large festival, then I resigned to do something less stressful. After a couple of years of interesting but less cerebral jobs I've found myself managing a community radio station.
Each different job has given me a new experience for life's resume, and while some jobs have been more financially successful than others, I framed a photocopy of my first royalty cheque from SOCAN, butI can't remember what they paid me at Kmart.
