Jeanne's Story

Life My Kids I have two kids and two grand-daughters. .Unfortunately, I lost my father in 2003 and it still hurts. I have been married though for over 41 years now which is a bright spot in my life. I never thought I would have one of those long term marriages! Its shocking the hell out of me. I also have 8 cats and a cute beagle which we adopted 5 yrs ago.. I live in what you would people call the sticks. Has everyone left good ole South Plainfield? And why? Finally, I have good news. After four knee replacements I am finally infection free!(2016)!!!! I am planning on actually going on a hike tomorrow with my family. Wish me luck.l I should be fine.And on Easter I will be 60! Wow, that is a biggie especially since I had cancer at 34. And beat it! ould never walk without assistance, It took a lot of physical therapy but, I did it.Now you can't keep me down. I have bad news. My husband of 45 years passed very suddenly. Now I need to know how do I go on. I don't know how I am coping with the loss of my husband but, i am. Fortunately my son moved back home to help out. I never realized how much work is involved with maintaining a home. It seems everyday I am learning something new. Now I am learning how to take care of my two cars. It seems everything has been breaking down in the last year. But, through my son he is helping me get through all this. My life is full of firsts. Today I will be jumping my husbands car. The battery died from non use. Wish me luck. At least spring has started ' Now I need to do yardwork. . Lucky me!
