Jeannette's Story
Life
39 yo, divorced, happy and exhaled with two boyz, Arthur (17) and Alexander (15). Retired from the US Army after 20 years (30 Nov 1988 to 30 Nov 2008).
School
I hated high school especially P.E. and it's surprising that I came into the Army and I love physical fitness! My favorite teachers were Mrs. Best, my senior P.E. teacher and Mr. Nottoli, my senior English teacher.They knew that I needed that "extra" push and they stuck by me the whole time and they were great mentors. I went to Simeon High school with my twin sista Bobbi and my friends Rochelle and Ernise Liggins and that's how I survived, by having them by my side. College
I attend college online with the Army eamyu program. I received my BA in Criminal Justice from Troy State University and my Master's Degree in Organizational Development at The University of Incarnate Word here in San Antonio.
Workplace
I work at Sears Holdings Corporation.
Military
Retired from the US Army
I always wanted to be a Soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
I exercise on my stairstepper and I go running.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my recruiter SSG Baker, because he would be proud to know I stayed in the Army and retired.
