JEF's Story
After my stint at Greene Joint and a year at OU in Athens; I had a twenty year career as an Architectural Designer. Then it was back to college at age 41 to become a Paralegal then retired before 60. I am now writing a book about American Indians to honor my Mother who passed away in 2007. I can see the Smoky Mountains from my place, I travel extensively and remember the days of making out in the library and having Mr. Manuel chasing me down the halls.
I also remember my classmates, home room, the jet airplane nearly crashing into the cafeteria. I wish I had spent more time talking to people who I spent my days with. There are a few young ladies, now women, that I would love to run into just t...Expand for more

It was never proven that I had anything to do with hoisting that car up the flagpole or stealing cows from Shakertown lol.

The ole Skating Rink, KilCare, gas was 18 cents, A&W on Woodman, dancing at The She on North Main and all those times at The Diamond Club? Top Value or S&H Green Stamps. Little Kings, Boones Farm, or Cherry Vodka. Sneaking people in the trunk [up front] in a '62 Corvair at The Belmont Drive-In; then driving off with a speaker lol.
