Jeff's Story

School School was very good to me. Some memories are fuzzy and most of the others aren't for public consumption. Suffice to say, mostly ups - purged the downs. Always looking forward. Notable notes: Thanks to Mr. Saunders for the trip to Ottowa in grade 6 ! Thanks to Mr. Kidd for the trip to Montreal and Quebec in grade 10 - Beef Stroganoff for ever ! Thanks to Frank McKinnon, Wayne Johnston, Bob Leslie, Ernie Sutherland, and all the other volunteers for the hockey memories - the Cougar trip to Montreal was one for the record books and there were many others ! Thanks to Gord Johnston for helping me get to the Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre. That was a blast Gord ! I could go on and on and will ... Thanks for the drama memories 'Anything Goes', 'Fiddler on the Roof' there were more of these as well. Thanks Brian Parker for the Intramural / Zone four golf. Thanks to Mr. Lindsay for helping get through Physics and for your efforts in our soccer success. Richard, you really went overboard in helping a student catch up for grade 12 finals. Your wife was very helpful as well. I'll remember that always. Thanks to Mrs. Myers for teaching me the value of grammar and syntax. That whole foray into structure brought a whole new light to english for me - my mom thinks you are one of the best teachers there is ?? (is that grammatically correct ?) Thanks to Brian Yagi for introducing me to Danali and silk-screening and the chemistry and art of photography. I have a company in this area...Expand for more
now ! Mrs. Jones, Mr. Boggs, Mr. Schewchuck, Mr. Enns, Mrs. Strachan - my first love (kindergarten), Mr. Kowalchuk, Mr. Clark, no more room, and there are a lot more to mention stories about Mr. Kennedy, Mr. Boschke, Mr. Parker, Ms Jones, MR Y (THE HAIKU MAN)! ... I'll be back College Fun, Foggy, Inspirational, Longing for more. Be back for an MBA some day and if I win a million ... would sure like to see if I'm up to the challenge of medicine. Workplace My years in information technology have been pretty good to me. The dream is to take the experience gained from IBM and Oracle and to start, develop and grow new offshoot companies that have products and services well-suited for the internet - globally. There is ample opportunity for niche, internet-based, marketing companies. I have such a company. We're always looking for new good products and services to sell over the internet. Professionally speaking, currently, I have a sales management career where I spend my time meeting and listening to professors in Manitoba and Saskatchewan tell me about what would be beneficial to them out of a strategic partner in delivering effective, efficient, and flexible education to their university students. In the future, I hope to be able to help companies with world wide sales forces be more customer focused and more effective at approaching and selling to their customer. We're all busy. Someone who can cut to the chase and deliver on what they preach is worth their weight in gold.
