ctor. I finally went. Saw the doctor on April 7th 2005. He wanted me to have another test done that he did not have the equipment for. So April 11th I went to work for a little bit then to the hospital to have the test. I did not pass this test. In fact I was wisked away into a room then poked and proded. I had taken a stress echo test. come to find out that 75% of my heart was not functioning after exercise. The did one operation at that hospital and told me that I needed 8 to 9 bypasses. They transfered me to Good Sam hospital in NW Portland. I had one friend with me . When I got the the second hospital there was another old friend on the doc there. Jeff Birrer who is an EMT. He went and found my parents. Everything is so different when you are looking at the world from a gurney. Well I had every complication and spent 33 days in the hospital. I walk a little funny now but I am so much better. I ended up having 6 bypasses. So now that is all... To be continued...
