Jeffery's Story
Life
I have just reupped as a Gold Member (not Austin Powers... yeah, baby) on 5/5/09 for another year, so I can still be reached through this website's e-mail. I still play guitar every day (since September of '76... you do the math). Lately I've been learning the old blues master's songs and styles. I've also been shooting some home video of my songs for posterity. I'm sure you'd dig it. It's probably not what you'd expect... oh yeah, there's some mind bending metal (you know it's true), but I've expanded my style over the years to include some really vibrant solo material. I study a lot of solo artists who have that spark of originality and integrity in their music that makes it immediately endearing and emotionally powerful. I take elements from Gospel, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Classical and Modern Soundtrack and blend them into, what I think, is a deeper, fuller, more meaningful music experience. Depending on the audience, I can play from a variety of genres that can connect emotionally at the very deepest levels. For instance, I could play at a retirement home because I know the songs from the '20's... and I can play at a kegger, bar or other venue because I know all the classic rock, blues and drinking songs of the last 100 years. My goal now is not so much becoming famous, but, rather touching peoples lives by connecting with them through the music. Everyone has sorrows and joys. My greatest joy seems to be when I'm done playing and someone comes up to me and I can tell that they really "get it". You know what I mean... like when you have friends over and it's getting late and they get ...Expand for more
up to leave because they have to go to work in the morning but you can tell they don't really want to go. I feel that way about all of you. We went through our adolescence together and I often wonder how you all are doing. I've seen some of you over the years and I'm always glad when I hear you're doing well. I wish the best for all of us... God bless you all.

Workplace
I've resigned from Professional CADD Services, Inc. (Nov. 07) after 6 years where I designed custom homes and created the blueprints for them on computer. The photos I've uploaded are of a 2500 sq. ft. 2-story custom that is built in the El Dorado Hills of California.
As of Feb. 08 I started my own company and am creating my own music as Artistic Endeavors Media. I write, perform and produce my own CD's, videos and graphics. You can listen to samples of my current music on myspace /artisticendeavorsmedia
I created 4 CD's in 2008 which are unreleased. I just finished a compilation CD for release called "Prelude to the Overture". Some of the tracks are from the other CD's, but there's also some new stuff only available on this CD. I decided to do this because it gives a better representation of my varied interests, as the other (unreleased) CD's are genre specific. I feel that I can reach a wider audience and fan base while keeping production costs down. I am also in the process of creating another CD called "BLUE" which is all music based in the blues. This should be commercially viable because of the cross cultural and generational nature of the blues. I'll try to keep you all posted... GOD Bless you all.
