Jeffrey's Story
Life
* Graduated from Kent State University in 1981 with a degree in Speech and Theatre and a commission in the Air Force.
* Entered active duty in January of 1982 and was sent to Germany for two years in a Combat Crew position.
* Met and married an English woman (Jakki) in February of 1984.
* Stationed in Marquette, MI as a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Officer until February of 1986.
* First daughter (Elizabeth) born in August of 1985.
* Went to work for the Army as a civilian theatre specialist in September of 1986 at Fort Devens (near Boston).
* Second daughter (Victoria) born in January of 1988.
* Promoted to Chief of MWR Services in October of 1990.
* Father died in 1994.
* Enrolled in Boston University following Fort Devens' closure in 1996. Awarded a MBA specializing in Arts Administration in 1997.
* Oldest daughter named as "Pre-Teen Massachusetts" titleholder in 1997.
* Hired as Production Manager and Theatre Instructor by the Boston Conservatory.
* Moved to Washington DC following marital separation and returned to work for Army MWR as a Human Resources Specialist at Army Headquarters in 1999.

* Hired as a MWR Management Instructor by the Army MWR Academy in 2001.
* Oldest sister (Jill) died in 2004.
* Other sister (Jennifer) died in 2006.
* Oldest daughter graduated with honors from George Washington University in 2006.
* Second daughter entered Nursing School at the University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth) in 2006.
*Oldest daughter moved to England and accepted a corporate managerial position in marketing for a large telecommunications firm (Vodafone).
* Mother experienced post-operative complications in 2007 and currently resides in a nursing home.
* Arranged a work at home agreement and moved back to the Akron area to care for my mother in 2009.
* Currently work as a restaurant management proponant and instructor for Army headquarters.
* Directed, produced, and/or acted in well over 200 plays since high school. Is a member of both Actors Equity Association as well as the Screen Actors Guild.
* Am an extroverted, intuitive, and feeling perceiver (ENFP) according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. A web search for "ENFP" will reveal some of the keys to my personality.
