Jenilyn's Story
Life
Well .. I am currently living in San Antonio, Texas with my 3 awesome kids. I was re-married to my awesome husband Eric on April 12, 2008 and now I have 4 step-children in addition to my own. I am training to be a Dental Assistant. I have a 12 year old named Jimmy, a 10 year old named Carleen and then the baby, he's 6 and his name is Austin. I am busy with them all the time .. and when they are with their dad I try to let loose lol. I don't really miss NJ much .. I miss my family and that's it. After over 7 years, I have finally considered San Antonio my home. I love the way my life is right now ... it's finally where I've always wanted it to be.
Now that I'm grown and have 3 precious lives to look after, I realize how stupid the things I did back then were. I was always so worried about what others thought of me that no matter what I did .. it gave them more of a reason to think negative of me. I know t...Expand for more
here are alot of people out there now that still dwell on how they were liked or disliked growing up. The way I see it is, there are phases in life in which you have the power to change. If something isn't working out well for you ... search for the strength to change it to suit you. It's easier to stay in a comfortable position that you're familiar with rather than to work at changing it. I don't regret my teenage years ... I learned many lessons from that time. I don't regret the 6 bad years of my 10 year marriage .. it made me stronger. It's not always about you .. when you change yourself, everybody in your life is effected for the best. In my case, my children are happy because ... I'm finally happy. Now that I've just rambled on and on .. I hope that all the people that I crossed paths with in school and in life are doing well.
