Jennifer's Story

Life I finally gave up my single life at age 32 and married George Lambert of Raleigh. He also graduated college from NC State. We are die-hard wolfpackers and go to most games! I am a sports fanatic. I love College Basketball and Football! I even now like Hockey due to the Carolina Hurricanes that play up the street from me, 2006 Stanley Cup Champions. I still am involved some with Cheerleading. I judge competitions around the State and also Choreograph routines. I also have my SAG (Screen Actors Guild)card and do some small projects on TV and auditioning for movie parts locally. In 2004, I was a volunteer for the NC Republican Party to help re-elect George W. Bush. Thankfully, he was re-elected. I am a Christian and give all thanks to Christ. I haven't been on here in awhile and am updating on June 16th 2007. I gave birth in February to a little girl, Rachel Angelica Lambert, she is so wonderful and is the best thing that ever happened to me! I had a wonderful job in Medical Device Sales but have chosen to give it up and stay at home with my little girl for a few years! God has given us such a miracle! I am updating this on January 15, 2009, We now have a baby boy, Smith Lambert. He is 2 months old and very precious! We are so excited to have a boy and a girl! God is Good! School I still look back on Elem, Middle and Highschool years. I loved all of those years very much! My favorite teachers in Elementary school was Mr. Link. and Mr. Fuldner They use to tease me a lot! They both had nicknames for me! I loved the attention! In Middle School Mrs. Shook was a great influence on me. She taught me singing and was my cheerleading coach! She looked and sang just like my older sister,Nina, who didn't live in NC with us. I also loved Mrs. Eckerd and Mr. Spencer!! In High School I loved running Track! Coach Weaver and Reese were my coaches all 4 years and were awesome! They are the reason why I broke the 100mm High Hurdler record my Senior year. Mrs. Kim Bolick was my favorite female teacher. She was young and down to earth. She was also my Student Council advisor for 3 years! We still keep in touch and she actually came to Raleigh for my wedding last year. It meant the world to me, her being there! My Senior year Cherie Cauble was my cheerleading coach and the Librarian. She and I had such a close bond! I saw her at a football game when I was cheering in College. I had a picture taken with her and I'm so glad I did, she passed away several years ago from Cancer. I will never forget her! Some Happy mem...Expand for more
ories of Highschool were winning "All American Cheerleader Award" at camp and breaking a 6-year long record in Hurdles in Track at Regionals in May of 1989. And in 1987, we won the 1st State Cheerleading Championship which is now very big in NC. Also, going to the first round in the Highschool football state championship playoffs. Our school had not been in like 30-40 years. At that time, it was fun even though we lost 1st round, atleast we got to go. College I went off to College 1 semester after most people my grade did. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I applied later than most and was able to go in January 1990. I took a few classes at a community college my Senior Year in HighSchool and the Fall after so I would be equal to the other Freshmen. I entered ASU in Jan. 1990. I then transfered 2 years later to NC State University and graduated in December of 1994. ASU was a party school. When I got to NC State, our cheerleading program was unbelievable. We practiced basically everyday that we weren't cheering a game. We didn't have much time off. We were in the best shape, didn't act like the typical college student, going out to parties, etc... during the season, we stayed disciplined. We prayed together as a team before every practice and game. We were all great friends! I ran more with cheerleading at State than I did in the 4 years I ran track in Highschool. It was intense and I learned more about life on that squad than in any classroom. Today I still think of us running up a hill kind of like with work today, I keep hearing the voices of my teammates saying, "Keep going, you can do it!" Workplace I didn't know what I wanted to do after I graduated! I was a CHEERLEADER! I had few sales jobs and then finally got a great Medical Device Sales job with Smiths Medical selling devices to hospitals all over NC for 4 years. I then went to work for Medtronic Diabetes, I sold Insulin Pumps and this product truly changes people with diabetes lives. It was an awesome company and job! After I had the Baby, I struggled on going back to the job I loved or staying home with the Baby I loved more than anything! We didn't really have any family in Raleigh that could keep Rachel so I gave up my job to stay at home with my Baby Girl. I am thankful every day that I have a wonderful husband that has allowed me to do the Best Job I've ever had!! God has truly blessed us. So now, I'm a stay at Home Mommy, Teacher, Cook, Cleaning Lady, Errand Runner, and Decorater of our Newly Renovated Home. I stay very busy!
