Jennifer's Story
Life
I left NTHS and got my GED in '98. That summer I moved to Florida, and I lived there a total of 2 years. That's also where I met my husband- he was home on leave before going to Korea (he's in the Army). In '00 I moved back with my parents for a year, and then moved with my husband (then fiance) to Long Island when he was given recruiting duty. We got married when...Expand for more
we got here, moved into military housing, and that's where we've been ever since. I thought with him being a recruiter he wouldn't have to go anywhere, but because of his language skills he was sent to Afghanistan in '02. Thank goodness he came home quickly and safely! We'll be going to Ft. Bragg next, and I can't wait! We're now the proud parents of a healthy baby boy!
