Life
Still in Smithers. I've been married since 1999, five months after my younger sister lost her battle with osteogenic sarcoma. I know she would have been thrilled that in June 2004 we had a wonderful little boy, and were blessed with another little guy at the beginning of November 2006.
Here we are at the end of 2009, and you guessed it--another kid! In November we welcomed baby #3, a girl this time! For the time being I think that will be it for kids now that we are officially outnumbered! My oldest is in kindergarten--get to deal w...Expand for more
ith the school system from another perspective! I got the chance to make a special donation this year. I've always wanted to donate blood, but here in Smithers that is a bit difficult. I discovered there was a need for breastmilk and voila, a couple months later I was in Vancouver donating a stash I put aside especially for someone in need. I feel lucky to be where I am health-wise, and to be lucky enough to have the kids I got, well, this seemed like the best way to share my good fortune. I hope it makes a difference in someone's life!
