Life
I'm getting married to my High School Sweet Heart, Joel Miller, next year in August 2006. I'm really excited. We've known each other since 1997. I'm not sure how I feel about becoming a Navy wife, however I'm glad to finally be with someone who loves me. :)
School
School in Sweet Home, Oregon kinda sucked. I was the fat, shy, new korean girl with glasses, who stuck out like a sore thumb. Then I became an adult and thought "everyone can just f-off, because this is me, like it or not :)" I really miss my fave. teachers Mrs. Munts, Mr. Snow, Mr. Thompson (Drama), Ms. Clausen, Mr. Johnson and even Mr. Cohrs and Mr. Risen (the two teachers other than Mrs. Munts who really pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of...Senior wasn't all that great because they put every senior "thing" like prom, senior trip, all-nite in one week so everyone was exhausted and grouchy. However, it is still an experience i'll never forget. :) I mean it's not like everyone goes to prom 3 times :) (Man it's nice to have an older boyfriend hehehe)...well that's all I remember about High School right now.
College
Oregon State University was not at all like I expected, hell college isn't what I expected. I graduated High School with a 3.89 GPA, I graduated College barely with a 3.0 GPA. It really hurt. Trust me guys College is hard!!! Study and learn in HighSchool while you still can!
I loved how the campus was full of fall flowers during autumn. The golds and reds sparkling in the late sun. (It inspired me to do a fall wedding.) Or the old buildings, which you...Expand for more
just felt that they were really haunted. I can't really remember too many teachers other than those rare few who pissed me off or made me laugh. Or those classes that I couldn't stand, because I didn't have a clue or just didn't care (O.Chem, Physics, Hydrology, Stratigraphy, Mineralogy). Yet I guess I will always have those fun classes in my memories like Math Rec (with the teacher who enjoyed finding solutions to the problems for you), COUNTRY WESTERN DANCING (who knew I would love to dance), Yoga, and others I can't think of right now.
College is an eye opening experince. I'm not kidding you. you learn that dorm rooms really should be one person to "hole-in-the-wall", they really do want to take all of your money, it is about "puking" up the information than knowning it, and it will be something you'll never forget.
Workplace
Since I moved to Washington, I have worked at Wal-Mart (don't do if you have an opinion), work in a Library (which is the best job ever), and work on a Naval Base in a snack bar (My mom always said never say never and that's how I got stuck marrying a military guy (I said i'd never be part of the military) oh well :) ). I'm looking for a new job in Washington that is more secretarial, because i really miss typing and working on computers. But I just hope I can go back to school and finish my schooling. I want my dream job, not this crap that I'm going through now.
Military
My boyfriend/fiancee is in the Navy. He's a E-3 I think. One chevron on his sleeve. He used to be on the Kitty Hawk and now he's at Everett, WA as a CS on shore duty. That's about all I know about the military :D
