The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Nathaniel Oviatt, because he was a big part of my heart and I still catch myself thinking about him on a regular basis. I remember the easy friendship we developed almost immediately, and how secure i felt when with him. There were nights that I couldn't sleep due to some unrecognized discomfort in my mind and/or unrest in my relationship with my family. On those nights I would get in my old Nova and drive the three or so miles to his house, climb the outside stairs to his room, let myself in, and toe my way across the room to the record player.
