Jennifer's Story

Life Hello friends, I remember and enjoy the memories from my education years. I have felt as if everyone I knew had come and gone. I am excited that I actually found this site. As you might know during my junior year of high school I delivered a healthy baby boy (Carl). He has been my life. After high school I married (Ted) and attended college. My best friend in the world (Becki) attended with me. We later found a career together and share an office still. I later divorced. The sadest part of my life has been the lose of my sister (Tracy). Tracy has been sadly missed but she did leave me with a nephew (Dustin) who I enjoy at visitation. My son is making his own school memories and will start hhis junior year of high school in August 2005 at Westland. My goal is to be an excellent role model and friend during these years. I have enjoyed being busy. I love to visit friends and have great times. I hope that I will be able to use classmates to find those friends I so greatly miss. I even have a few boys that I would now like to tell that I crushed on. Do you think it might be you? Please email me if you remember me. Love, Jennifer College College was a huge challenge. I did not decide yet what I want to be when I grew up. I started by trying accounting and I was not to successful because I was allowed to go only when I wanted to...Expand for more
. Becki was on a waiting list to go into nursing. So Becki and I decided to open the course offering and point to an area of interest we could attempt. I went to Columbus State and got my associates degree. Then I went to Ohio State and also took classes at Columbus State, especially internet courses. I continue college courses on and off each year. I have an associates degree (Mental Heatlh, Mental Retardation, and Chemical Dependency) plus enough credit hours to have a masters degree. Just not all in one area. I am a professional of all, master at none. Workplace I have worked the same job for many years. My job title is actually a social service worker. I help families get the services they need for everyday survival and basic needs. Over the past several years I have worked with hundreds of students and families. I work in conjuntion with Franklin County Job and Family Services to help families obtain benefits. I enjoy my work and plan on continuing to work for the schools for a longer period of time. I have met many good coworkers then friends. I have accomplished some of the greatest challenges and rewards. When I receive letters from parents and awards from the school district I know why I do what I do. I have been nomiated for the spirit (above and beyond) award all but one year of my career. I also have the privelage of working with Becki.
