Life is full of surprises...
A couple of years after graduation, I joined the Navy. I've experienced the whole marriage and divorce thing (twice), and my last husband died. I have 4 amazing children now and two hella hyper husky mixes.
Since high school, I've lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, California, Virginia, Missouri, and Illinois. I've been overseas to Sicily, Spain, and Bahrain. I've seen Nova Scotia, Halifax, Ireland (at least the fog anyways... LOL!), the Pyramids, the Northern Lights, and have been to Hawaii a couple of times. I've ...Expand for more

I am a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership and have published research on effective political leadership in the USA. I am an entrepreneur and love writing for a living. I am involved in my local government and am a Board Member for a Veteran's Memorial NonProfit organization in my tiny tourist town. I am a published author on the effects of micro-management and am currently working on a memoir about how I found myself through the death of my husband.
It is always onwards and upwards.
