Currently working at Wells Fargo bank in the small town where I live in NE MN, looking forward to an interview in mid-september at Mount Magazine State Park. Hopefully, that will go very well and I'll be back in Arkansas this year (but after it cools off a bit!)

Spent a few months in Tyler, Texas as GM of a hotel until it sold (2 times in 2 years - I must be doing something right to make the hotels looks soooo good!)
Now I'm back in NE Minnesota enjoying the moderate temps and taking some time off as I decide whether I want to stay in hotels or finish up my ed classes.

I completed and received my MBA from University of Phoenix in July of this year!!!
I now live in Roseville, Minnesota, which is a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I still work for the same hotel company, but lived in Northern Minnesota (where I still have a home) for 2 years and was GM of the Lodge at Giants Ridge, a great full-service resort hotel at Giants Ridge golf & ski resort. I loved it, it was hard work, but the company sold the hotel in the Spring, so now I manage a 180 room hotel in Roseville. I am also a Regional VP of Operations and have operational control over 5 other hotels, 2 in Arkansas, 1 in Io...Expand for more
wa, 1 other in Minnesota, and 1 in Wisconsin. I still get to travel and am looking forward to a trip to Dallas soon! (Finally got to go to Vegas for the first time this fall!)
I spent five years (mostly) living in Mena and going to school and working. I was married in January of 1994 to James Segraves (also from Mena). We moved to Arkadelphia in 1998 so that I could finish at Henderson State University with a Biology Degree.
I started working a the desk of the Holiday Inn Express in 1998 and am currently the General Manager. Lots of hard work, but never a dull moment!
The company that owns the Arkadelphia HIEX, Sundance Lodging, has given me many opportunities. During 2000 & 2001 I was the company Internal Auditor & 'bench manager' and was able to travel some (I got to see Mt. Rushmore & Crazy Horse Mtn in Rapid City, SD). I have also been recently promoted to Revenue Manager for the company (17 hotels) in addition to my GM duties. As I've said before, lots of work, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
James and I still live in Arkadelphia, and I enjoy still living close to Oden, although I don't get to visit very often, but my parents come up & visit often.
We have no children, but enjoy spending time with James' niece & nephews.
