Jennifer's Story
Life
Being from Philadelphia, I really didnÂt like the small town atmosphere. I kept a low profile in school. I always went to the city on weekends to hang with friends. Dating in the city was more fun. If the relationship didnÂt work out, I didnÂt have to see them in Mrs. FineÂs Social Studies class everyday. I had crushes on a couple of Bristol guys but you never knew.
After high school I briefly went to Temple UÂ
Hated it. I ended up moving a lot and became a free spirited radical type. As a hobby, I got into Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing. I freelanced and worked for a small multimedia company. IÂve always been an artist. I was married for a while. Since the divorce my ex now likes men(smile)Â

After the divorce, I ended up working full time as security officer to maintain health benefits and part time freelance artist. Today after seven promotions in less than five years, I am an Account Manager for a nation-wide company. I currently manage over 85 employees and the security for The Community College of Philadelphia. The corporate job is very fast paced and challenging, plus I use my graphics background to design training presentations. I have also developed an employee-mentoring program.
In my spare time I do volunteer work, Aikido classes and teach computer basics to those who wish to advance in the company. Right now IÂm working on a book of short stories, writing a screen play and preparing to go back to school.
