Jennifer's Story
Life
Eight days after graduating from high school, I left for Basic Training in South Carolina for the Army Reserves with a friend. I was a Combat Medic for 6 years, and although I'm not really the military type, I had a lot of fun. I also attended college in Idaho with my sister and a couple of friends. I then went on to Brigham Young University in Utah with four friends from Minnesota and graduated in nursing. ended up having four children in Utah. From there we moved to New Mexico where my husband worked as a mechanical engineer at Los Alamos National Lab and where we had our last two children. Now we live in Colorado and really like it here. Our children each ended up with a partner and as of Aug. of 2003, we have two girls 13 & 11 yrs. old, two boys 9 & 7, and two girls 5 & 3. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and life is fun but also busy and challenging! OK, I think I've said enough! Ü
