12/06/07....time to update this dated profile! Guess the holidays stir up the feeling of wanting to connect with the past. This is just as good a way as any.
Lots has changed in the past few years at my corner of the world here in Wisconsin. Sadly, I found myself needing to leave my second marriage to preserve my self-esteem (or what was left of it) a few years ago. I pulled up my boot straps and forged ahead with my three kids to make more of myself and make that all important impact on humankind. I'm enjoying "condo" life and have become addicted to driving smaller, sportier cars (the van HAD to go!).
After working in the nursing home industry for a few years as a physical therapist assistant, I put my nose back into the books and got certified as a personal trainer. My years working out at the gym combined with the therapy background made this a very logical step in my pursuit of finding a job that felt like play.

ping them become healthier and fit. I found my dream job FINALLY! (Never say never)! I find it very rewarding to change the lives of folks who were once inactive and out of shape. Not to mention I get to exercise and get paid at the same time! It's exciting to make a living working part-time...leaves me time to explore more business ventures that hopefully come to fruition soon.
The gym is where you'll usually find me. I love the weights...guess that makes me a gym rat (or princess as the guys call me :). Keeps me out of trouble!
I finally made a trip across the pond landing in Italy. My pic was taken in Positano, my favorite part of the trip. I wish I would have made the trip long ago, but know that I will be making more in the future. I love traveling!
I couldn't be prouder of my three kids; Derek ('82), Leah ('84), and Molly ('88). All three are in college and doing very well. Down the road they will be a Chiropractor, Art Designer, and Psychologist. Then I can go back to eating every day and buying shoes.
Life is good...hard work, but good. Hope to see you at the next reunion or all-school reunion!
