Jenny Pfeiler:  

I'm a retired TN Licensed Optician; married in '75 to Terry Pfeiler, (Norris HS, TN, Class of 65, UTK, 70.) Hubby was a TVA electrical engineer who worked on the designs of the Sequoia and Bellafont nuclear power plants. He struggled with many health issues from 2006 and had 5 brain surgeries as well as heart surgery, developing Parkinson's before passing away in 2015. High School for me was Wagner, (Clark AFB, Philippines), and NBCR (McGuire AFB, NJ), finishing in NC at Hunter Huss (Gastonia, NC). I attended Gaston College, NC off and on from 70 to 72, graduated Roane State, TN '73, and attended Chattanooga State, in TN, '94, while later apprenticing for 3 years to learn and license in opticianry. Nowadays, I'm the presbyopic, chocoholic, mother of 2 humans and part owner of a chubby gal pomeranian rescue. My son works for the government after he received a PhD in biomedical engineering from NC State and NC Chapel Hill. He also spent time as a research assistant at Duke University. Our daughter was born with Spina Bifida and is paraplegic. She's a beautiful soul who graces the lives of all around her.. She is the most patient being I know! She's also a terrific computer researcher!
