aughters, and 5 grandchildren that I just adore! Have raised my oldest granddaughter since she was 2 and she is going on 16 and soon I will have to go through the empty nest again (Or I should say for the first time)! Although, it will be nice to have just Dan and I for a change, since we have had kids around us from the very first date!! I have been happily married for almost 32 years and in some ways can't wait the 2 more years for Lexie to go to College and Dan to retire so we can really start having fun traveling to our hearts desire!! I have had a lot of joys in my life and even though my health is so so, I have so much to be thankful for! I can't think of anything I would do over again except maybe finish college 20 years earlier than I did. I am thankful that we were able to raise our kids and grandkids in the mountains where life is just a little slower. It has been a luxury not having to worry about all the crime and being somewhere that you still don't need to lock your doors if you don't want to!".
