Jerome's Story
Life
What can I say about myself for the last 37 years. I'm 54 years old and re-married. My wife passed away in May of 2005 after a long sickness. We were married nearly 25 years and I thank God for every day we had together. I have two boys, one is still at home, the oldest married in July of 2006 to a great girl, Jessica. My boy's were born in 1984 and 1990. Now I have a daughter and and a son-in-law and they are a wonderful young couple. We have a grand-girl, born in 2008. Her name is Brentliegh Laine Buckner. We have a grand-son that was born 2010. His name is Brice Adam Buckner. They are our joy. I sang for most of 26 years with 5 different Gospel groups (not all at the same time) and loved it. ke a CD with the last group and that was awesome. I miss singing but I don't know if I'll do it again. I was in trucking for about 26 years with 24 years behind a desk I wish I had worked the first 12 years at a desk as hard as I have the last 24. I would say I've had a good life and I've been very blessed. I've re-married a very great lady in 2007. A lot of our class mates have passed away. It doesn't seem real. For the rest I hope all has had a good life.

Oh how I wished I had went to college.
Workplace
I dispatched for a trucking company for nearly 18 years and 6 years in Quality Assurance. 2011 or company was bought out and 2012 they had a company re-structured so now I'm unemployed. It's hard finding a job at 54 when most companies want someone half your age.
