Jerrice's Story

Life is pretty basic, Mother of one here... Cliff is the love of my life and I would do anything for him, well almost anything. It's amazing that he is now 17 and a junior in the same high school I graduated from. Oh my how time has flown by. How amazing it seems that is was only yesterday when he was a little boy but now he's growing into a wonderful young man. He's had his girlfriend Sarah for two years now and they plan to get married... time will tell ;) Let's get though college first please... "Snickers" For years I have been single, I have had more important things to take care of, which of course is my son. So I have been dedicated to raising my son with standards and values that will hopefully give him the foundation to carry on in life that is filled with success and happiness. For the last two years he has been a "Big Brother", and he plans to continue this after school. How great is that! Currently he thinks he wants a career in computers. He has recently built a "Super Computer", OMG! LED lights and totally amazing. His career choices has changed so many times over the years but what ever he chooses, I am confident that he will have the passion to succeed at what ever he chooses. My how time flies! Back in High School, I thought I wanted the glamorous life and be able get out of this lil-ol-town. In my senior year, I was offered a modeling contract. Thereafter; experiencing what was expected and needed to succeed. I realized that the glitz and the glamour was not worth it, nor was it the kind of life I had wanted. I realized I was a basic home-town-girl wanting a casual life, which I am content and very happy with. Currently I work two jobs and I love keeping busy especially since my son is so independent. I enjoy the greater knowledge that people have to offer me. My first job and most important job is me being a school bus driver for the PHM School District, which; I have done for 10 years. I could never imagine not having this job as I...Expand for more
love when the light bulb goes off in a child¿s eyes. Knowing that I can/and do make a difference in someone's life. I work for one of the local grocery stores and of course serving those people has just as much rewards as me being a school bus driver. I guess I am just a people kind of person... So you see both of my jobs give me the opportunity to experience many divers individuals. I couldn't imagine doing anything else being as rewarding. Sure my jobs are demanding, but my son is busy with his own life and with that I decided to expand my own personal horizons. For me I am very happy with the way my life has unfolded. I am truly blessed! Thanks for stopping by and sharing my story... When I was little, I walked to school with my brother and on the way to school there was this field with a small shed. We were always told that if you walked by you would hear someone walking down the steps. Sure enough it sounded just like someone walking down stairs... Funny Was it real or just a dream??? Not sure if I want to know. Snickers =) I always wanted to be a mom with three sets of twins... OMG What was I thinking when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a ridiculous idea. As it turns out, they were Oh so right!!! LOL. My son is my hero! After the loss of his baby brother, he made me realize that life does go on and I found that something good comes out of all bad. We just have to realize it! Hmm Love the reality shows, love dogs, currently poodles and shelties. Obsessions? Sweets NO matter how hard we try to be perfect and the best, that no parent is. It's a trial and err. Hopefully we improve. As a bus driver it's amazing what parents think! or Perhaps don't want to know? If I won $100 million, I'd give a few million of it to several charities, then spend the rest on family, education and investments. My current age is 45. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be almost dead. I was so completely wrong and I have years to live!.
