Jerry A.'s Story
I'm sure many of you remember US and world history teacher Keith Larimore. He had a profound effect on my life leading me to my profession today of librarian and archivist at the District of Columbia Public Library's Washingtoniana Division and Peabody Room, special collections of Washington, DC and Georgetown neoighborhood history.

to found in 1997 the Silver Spring Historical Society, a 501c3 whose mission is to document and preserve the history of Silver Spring, Maryland.
I am still saddend that AKHS has been razed and recently, to learn, that Masson Elementary School has been bulldozed. I will forever hold dear the memories I have of those two wonderful institutions of learning.
