jerry's Story
Engaged in RCMP April 1960, served 25 yrs in Manitoba, retired in 1985 with rank of Staff- Sgt, immediately began new career as Corporate Security Mgr with TD Bank based in Winnipeg & looking after Corp security in TD Bank branches thru-out Manitoba, Sask. &N.W. Ontario region.
Retired from that position May 2000 & commenced pt time "retirement job" as an Interpretive guide for Frontiers North/Tundra Buggy Adventures at Churchill, Manitoba, leading international tourists on tours during the annual polar bear migration during Oct-November period - to view, study & photograph the magnificant, majestic polar bears in Western Hudson Bay area, along with various other wildlife in this sub arctic area.

etachment 1976-78, fit in real good for that pt time job. Retired from that position in 2010, with an extensive colllection of polar bear, other wildlife, arctic flora & fauna, beluga whale photos, with the last 5 yrs being recorded & archived digitally etc.
Continue to reside on west shore of Sturgeon creek in west end of Winnipeg. Our daughter is school teacher with 2 girls, ages 5 & 7, that live 5 min. walk from our house (across Sturgeon creek from our house), Her husband is an RCMP member in plain clothes unit in Winnipeg, Our son also in RCMP stationed in Edmonton, also in a plain clothes unit there. With my wife we get to spoil our 2 beautiful grandaughters, visit our son in Alberta, travel, & continue to enjoy a great life in friendly Manitoba & continue to photograph wildlife etc.
