Life
Parents: Peyton Joshua and Virginia Estelle (Gilmer) Coffee
I was born at Brownwood Memorial Hospital in Brownwood, Texas on Jan. 21, 1942.
Attended Coggin Elementary school and Brownwood Junior high school through 1958.
Graduated from N.E. Houston ISD, M.B.Smiley High School in 1960.
Attended Howard Payne College in 1961-1962.
Joined Southwestern States Telephone Co. engineering department on Feb. 1, 1963.
Married Sherry Lea Sweeney in 1963 and had one son, Terry Dean in 1964.
Divorced in 1966.
Married Cynthia Elizabeth Downing on October 3, 1967.

Moved to Plano, Texas in 1970 with wife and daughter.
Retired from GTE on May 1, 1993.
Subsequently employeed by various independant telecommunications engineering contractors working for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Dallas, Fort Worth, McKinney, Austin, Greenville and Waco Texas until 2000.
Permaniently retired in 2000.
Currently live in Plano, Texas with my wife.
My daughter lives in Jamestown, North Carolina. She married David Ball, a British citizen from Preston, Lancashire, England. David is an design engineer for HondaJet Aircraft.
