Jerry's Story
Summer of '72 or '73 I taught a program with about 10 students - building go-karts in the metals shop.
We attempted to teach machine tools, blueprint, welding, fabrication, small engines, etc......
Wonder if anyone remembers the experience. I remember on the last day the go-karts
were paraded around the campus for graduation from the program.

interesting if anyone had recollections of the experience-
it wasn't all perfect, but it was sure a neat way for me to spend summer while I attended ISU.
I ended up teaching welding and manufacturing processes for 28 years at a community college before retiring about 10 years ago.
I have my own consulting firm now - Welding Consultant Services - I test and train and certify welders and welding.
