Jesse's Story
Life
I dont have a wife, but if anyone is up for the job, let me know! I have just gone over my 6 year mark in the USAF. I have been stationed at RAF Lakenheath for the ENTIRE time. This base is neighbored by 2 other AF bases in the rural part of East Anglia, about 25 minutes from Camridge, and 1 hour north of London. I live in one of the small hamlets called Barton Mills, which is about a 10 minute drive to RAF Lakenheath, and 15 minutes from Cambridge. Wanna know more, or to see some awesome pictures? Just let me know. By the way, I am part of a unit called "AMMO" in the AF (Munitions systems). Simplified, I build bombs. Right now I work out of a small building with about 3 other people, keeping accountability of expended munitions that return from daily flying, so I pretty much make my own hours. Ill think of some more stuff to say later. -Jesse
School
I was a shy kid in high school, so I did not naturally try to make friends, other than those that came up to me and talked first. Most of my tension was released in being a "band geek", where i excelled at playing the trumpet, so I guess thats where I gained my "popular" feeling. SO, if your a bandy, or a non-bandy, give me a shout out! -Jesse
College
I had actually changed my major 3 times before finally decided on what it was I wanted to stick with, taking my college career through a 6 year streak of wonderful memories, awesome friends, and lessons learned. I did pledge 2 fraternities, also sitck...Expand for more
ing with the final one. The final product was a Tau Kappa Epsilon Member. Since I did this in my final year at the University, I was not active to awful long. Im working on my Masters degree in Psychology right now. More to come...
Workplace
In a nut shell: My first job at 15 years of age, in the summer, was at the "brand-new" wendy's on the Beltline. Later, at 16, I worked at Kroger, also on the Beltline. After graduation (high school) I landed a college-major-oriented job at Decatur Band Instrument Co, on Bank street, During my 2 years of Junior college at Calhoun CC. Later, After I acquired a scholarship through UNA for Music, I worked for the last 2 years while I was at UNA, at Martins Family clothing in Florence. During one summer at UNA I did work for 6 months at Trico steel plant (Decatur), as a maintenance worker. After I completed my time at UNA, I joined the USAF, immediately after finals of December, 2001. There it is, in a nutshell....maybe Ill add more later. -Jesse
Military
Not too much to say here, Ive only been in for 4 years...However, I have been on one desert tour in Qatar for 5 months. If you have any questions about anything military, all you have to do is ask. Will be travelling to SC in early February for my next assignment.
Ive been here for almost 3 years now (in SC), and Im not to impressed with it. I got my pilots license a couple years ago here, and had a house built. Cant wait to go back to Europe to retire.
