Jessica's Story
Life
After Bernards, I went on to earn a dual degree in Psychology and Political Science with secondary concentrations in Business Administration and Marketing from Clark Universtiy.
I was with Daka International, Inc. from 1995-2001 and ended my career with them as a corporate manager and acting Vice President of the North West Region.
On August 6, 2000, Steve and I became engaged and then married on October 20, 2001 and spent a sublime week honeymooning in St. Lucia, West Indies.
Steve and I built our home in 2000 and moved in in 2001. We now reside on Wilmington Island in Savannah, GA and are delighted with being only ten minutes away from the beach.
In May, 2003, I took my company, a consulting and practice management firm and incorporated it. I've also been very active in our Homeowners Association and being a Volunteer Advocate for the Rape Crisis Center. Steve and I have done so much traveling so far and have been so involved in our community that the year seems to be flying by!
Wow, February 2006! How the time has flown!!! My company has steadily grown and we now have 10 full time consultants, 60 independent contractors, and three assistants. We currently have clients in England, Ireland, Aust...Expand for more
ralia, New Zealand, and of course, Canada and the United States. IÂm still volunteering with Rape Crisis & First Steps and stay active playing volleyball 3 nights a week. (IÂll geek out for a minute and confess that I just won the Savannah Scrabble Tournament this past weekend)
Unless the weather gets in the way, weÂre planning on seeing you at the reunion! I canÂt wait to catch up with you all and hear all of your news! Thanks to RJ & everyone else who stepped up and spent their valuable time helping out with the reunion!
January, 2007--good grief, has it really been almost a year since the reunion?!?!? It was wonderful to see all of you again! Please feel free to keep in touch via chiefsjets03 at the place that sounds like wa-hoo. As always, let us know if you're ever in Savannah--it's gorgeous down here and we'd love to show you around! Steve's still at Gulfstream Aerospace and was promoted last year. My company is still doing great and we're now at 15 fulltime consultants, and over 75 independant contrators. I am now a member of Zonta International, a group of executive & professional women that work to advance the staus of women locally as well as globally.
