Jessica's Story
After 8th grade i went to a continuation school in San Jose, CA called Broadway. My high school years were wild party days. A lot of drinking going on. And tragedies, my cousin killed her self and my father died b4 i got to see him again and b4 i graduated.I got a lot of money when my dad died, and i bought my mom a nice mobile home, i was living on my own bought some cool stuff and got some tattoos. I went to San Jose City College after 2 years of working at sucky dead end jobs. I majored in psychology, that was interesting. then started work at another sucky job for a few months. And i decided i didn't want to do retail any more so i went to a trade school for business office technology.During that time going to that school my friend introduced me to who is now my fiance. We have been together for 5 years now. And he is a tattoo artist so ill never have to pay for tattoos ever again. After school i couldn't find the job i wanted. So i started working at a concert venue Shoreline Amphitheater its a seasonal job but Ive been working there for 6 seasons, its just so fun i can be myself and look the way i want to and i get to see all my favorite bands for free. 6 months after me and my ...Expand for more
boyfriend got together i got pregnant, and we had a baby girl named Satine Curst and she's going to be 4 on Sept.1st all ready. After i had her i thought i could go back to school after 3 months. So i tried to go to school for fashion design, i wanted to make Gothic punk rock close for kids and babies. But it turned out it was too soon for me to back to school. After Satine was 9 months i went back to work at Shoreline, and after the season was over i had to find a more perminant job so over the next 2 years Ive work at various jobs form Hot topic to beauty supply stores. Then i decided that i should just go to cosmetology school scene i love dyeing and cutting hair. so i went to two different schools that i didnt finish. But i will be getting a apprenticeship with my in January 2010, so i am very excited for that.
I always wanted to be a a hair stylist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. So right now im working at Shoreline still and looking for another job to keep me busy and money in my hand.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Ana Licon, because she was my best friend in Jr. high.
