Jessica's Story
Life
After graduating from Springfield High, I attended school at Illinois State University, where I graduated in May of 2000 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a minor in French. In the fall of 1998 I studied abroad in Angers, France. In the spring of 2000 I moved out to the Washington DC area (Maryland) to do my internship with Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization). e a job in New York City, and I could be with him. We lived apart for a while. We just recently moved to Brooklyn and found a GREAT two bedroom together. We love this place. I also got a new job, first one in my field, in July. I work for the Administration for Children's Services as a Child Protective Specialist. I work in the Office of Confidential Investigations investigating allegations of abuse/neglect in foster homes. It's hard, exhausting work. I love it. I'm probably the happiest I've been in my life.
