Jessica's Story

I was in downtown Champaign last week and parked by the old NAA building, which is now a retirement residence. I had to walk from the back of the building to get to where I was going and remembered sitting on the platform smoking cigarettes and drinking orange crush. tional Academy closed I returned to Mt. Zion High School to graduate in 1988. I married my guy (from my junior year in Champaign) and moved to Urbana, IL. Currently I'm working in the Dean's Office at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of I, and also teaching ballet for the Champaign Park District (going on 20 years...are we really that old!). I am still married to my wonderful husband, and have two children (boys, 14 & 17). Makes me realize what a hellion I was in high school...sigh.
