Jesus M. is ... well, it's complicated. His schools include Edgewood High School. He later attended University of Califronia Berkeley (AB, Cultural Anthropology). He works(ed) at Self, Alameda County Public Defender.
More about Jesus M.:"I was born in Bad Water, Texas, East of the Pecos River. My first pet was a scorpion I kept in a jar; by age 5 my pets were rattlesnakes which I kept in a basket. Once the snakes were big enough, I used their skins to weave a rattlesnake leather quirt, which I used when I rode my horse. At age 11, I killed a man in a dispute over the ownership of a mare. rra Madre Mountains in Mexico, just so I could visit the trails and byways Pancho Villa had lived and traveled in. There still were a lot of bandits and desperados (some good and some bad) hiding in those mountains in those days, and a few of them were Gringos hiding from the Texas law. I befriended a couple of them and the three of us rode together for a spell. We parted company after a shootout with some other bandits. Later I had run-ins with mountain lions, brown bears and a lone Mexican red wolf, but I never got in any more trouble.
When I returned to Texas the grass was green, the corn was tall, the cantaloupes were yellow, and there was music in the air. I took a job as a ranch hand on a big spread, and eventually eased back into my home town.".
