Hello everyone!
After graduation from JM, I attended West Virginia University and graduated with a degree in Journalism in 1990.
I still live in Glen Dale and am I married to Matt Filben, who is also a graduate of John Marshall (1986) and WVU (1990). We have been married almost 15 years and have two great kids; Tanner, age 13, and Bailey, age 11.
I currently work for the Department of Catholic Schools with the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, and I could not ask for a better job. (More money, maybe, but not a better job!) My husband works for the National Credit Union Administration as a federal examiner. Matt and I are both involved ...Expand for more
with running the youth baseball and softball program in Glen Dale, which keeps us insanely busy during the spring and summer, but it is a lot of fun.
Like the rest of you parents out there, I spend most of my time as a slave to the kids' schedules, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Tanner plays basketball, baseball and football, (which pretty much means there is no break in the action all year), and Bailey juggles dance, piano, basketball and softball.
