Jill's Story
Life
I graduated from Bryan College in December 2000 with a B.A. in Communications. My mom died in Sept. 2001 unexpectedly. That loss was even more difficult as it happened at the same time as a relocation in home and change in employment. I helped start a Singles Ministry at my church in late 2003, and am still very active in leadership of that. Workplace
After college, I was in fast-food management for about six months, while constantly looking for work in my field. I now work in a church office, as the Media Specialist, where I've been since August, 2001. I see this as a stepping stone to my dream job (magazine editor), and relish the experience and growth it fosters. I continue to write and have recently begun pursuing publication.
