Jim's Story
Life
Debbie and I have been happily, joyfully, wonderfully married for more than 28 years. Together we have raised two beautiful daughters. We devote much of our time serving and ministering with a small non-denominational church where we have been members for many years. I serve there as an elder (part time pastor) and work with our older members. Debbie spends time also with our older members but also teaches kids Bible School.
Debbie works in a kindergarten classroom as a Title One Assistant in a low income school district helping "at risk" kids. Keeping me in-line is her other full-time job.
Casey, our oldest, is married and works in graphic design responsible for the formatting and publishing all of the print material for the college where she graduated. Her husband, Justin, is a youth minister. They are both HUGE Tigers fans.
Stephanie has is still looking for that dream job. She had a great opportunity to work on two episodes of Extreme Makeover Home Edition where they helped families in Michigan put their lives back together. In the meantime, she works in a law office and has her degree in marketing.

me and I have had opportunities to work on many exciting projects with many great people and companies.
Starting in late 2004, I have been working on a project with Vought Aircraft Industries, HQ'd in Dallas, TX. Vought, is one of the primary suppliers to Boeing, and has built two new facilities in Charleston, SC. These factory's are the manufacturing and assembly points for the two back sections of the fuselage for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The manufacturing of the aircraft is based on all new processes and technology that have never before been used and involve high tech composite material rather than the traditional metal that is used on all other commercial aircraft. Specifically, our project involved the implementation (and continuing support) all of the technical/computing infrastructure and computing systems that operate the two plants. That is, the development of plant floor systems through the implementation and configuration of all the back office systems such as payroll, finance, e-mail, etc. It also included the connectivity to all the manufacturing equipment, integration back to Vought's enterprise systems in Dallas, and installation of all of the required computers, devices, networks, and wiring that operate both facilities.
