I'm living on a horse farm just west of Ottawa, having moved to the area in 1980 with The Financial Post. I got married in 1983 to Sharon Hobson, who is from Britain. lives. Published a book in 2013 - 100 Days: the rush to judgement that killed Nortel -- on how Washington lawyers leaped to the wrong conclusions and lit the fuse that killed Nortel. Never worked as hard as I did at the Alliston Herald, though -- summer of '76, $120 a week for 80 hours of work! Learned a ton about the town I'll never forget.
