Jim's Story

After William Aberhart, worked for Canada Post for a few years until I joined Transport Canada as a Radio Operator, basically, sit with my feet up on the desk and try and stay awake. With Transport Canada, later NavCanada spent time up North, Norman Wells, NT, Dawson City, YT, Fort Smith NT, and relief work in Fort Good Hope and Sach Harbour NT. Transferred out of the North in '87 to Lloydminster AB where I spent 20 years before retirement. Got tired of the winters and ask wife if she want to move back to here home village...I need not ask. After retiring in 2006, moved out to the country , near a small village in BC. Keremeos. Daughter and family followed a few years later, 2 kids and looks like #3 on the way, but still not grandpa material. Son is happy in a family home sett...Expand for more
