Jim's Story
Life
I graduated from UW-Green Bay in '79.
Move to St. Louis in '85 by an old employeer.
Got married in '91. My wife Kathy is a speech patholigist.
Started with my current employeer (AG Edwards) as an application developer in '94 (might not be much longer as we've been bought out). Update - I survived the cut - I'm now "with" Wachovia. I guess this means I've got "real" skills - well at least someone thinks so.
I've got two adopted children - Ellie born in '95 in Wuhan China & Cass born in '98 in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam. We took some trips to Asia and came back with...Expand for more
babies. Pretty cool.
When I'm not being a code monkey I spend my time playing guitar (Martin - Americas Guitar for acoustics and several Epiphones for electrics), doing stuff at church (Holy Infant in Ballwin, MO), working around the house, brewing my own beer, cooking (I'm a member of the Kansas City BBQ society and am a certified BBQ judge) and being a dad (should be #1).
We've got a dog (border collie - the fetch queen), two hamsters, a bunny (bunzilla), and a cat (who would love the hamsters for lunch). Update, we've now added a 6th pet - chinchila. This is getting silly.
