working as a brick layer's helper for my uncle, continued to deliver two paper routes (Oklahoman & Times) 13 deliveries a week. Attended night school at OSU Tech. Got an A in my first college English class. Enrolled for fall semester but never attended. Glen told me if I didn't stay in school I would get drafted. He stopped by while home on leave from the Army or Air Force while I was out front working on my hot rod '56 Ford. He said I should join so I could pick my assignment. I think he was headed for Germany. So I joined the Army and they sent me to Vietnam for my 21st birthday. Thanks Glen.
