Dr. Jim Chambers serves as CEO of The Institute for Organizational Leadership (IOL; iolglobal.com), an educational consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning, organizational development, executive leadership, and information management.
Since its inception in 1993, IOL has served a broad range of clients in the US and abroad, including business, government, education, religious, and service organizations. Dr. Chambers and his partners at IOL have developed a number of resources to improve personal and organizational effectiveness; including planning models, human resource models, executive coaching programs, training courses.

ced Studies for the University of Phoenix, and several other universities where he teaches courses in leadership, organization, higher education, and serves on research committees. He is also an adjunct professor at Beulah Heights University and the Church of God Theological Seminary and the Program Chair for Leadership and Professional Development for COMMON, the leading IBM Users Group in the US. He serves on several corporate boards and is an award winning conference speaker and workshop facilitator.
Jim and his wife Lynette have been married for 36 years and have two grown children, Joe Chambers and Amanda Hartness. They live and work in the North Georgia Mountains close to Jasper, GA and just north of Atlanta. They enjoy international travel, writing, and spending time with their grandson.
