Jim's Story
Jim is from Schenectady, New York. He moved to Massachusetts in 1978 and has lived in Canton, MA since 1988. He is married to Donna Jean Downer. They celebrated their silver anniversary in 2013 and have two grown daughters.
His schools attended Elmer Avenue Elementary School, Oneida Junior High School, Linton High School, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

ring High School, he worked at Maurice B. Graubart & Sons on Jay Street in Schenectady. During College, he worked at Price Chopper on Watt Street and the General Electric Materials & Processes Lab. After College, he worked at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, SatCon Technology Corporation (where he was a founder), Foster-Miller Inc., and QinetiQ North America (following its acquisition of Foster-Miller.
