Jim's Story
Life
It's been a long, strange trip, but I got here. I've made some big mistakes, but I've made a lot of good decisions and had a lot of luck. I work at the Barberton Public Library - "Building Superintendent." That means I'm in charge of maintenance of the building, grounds, and building security and control systems. It's a small town, and a medium-sized (they tell me) library, so it's not bad at all. Plus, I work for something I believe in.

aving familiar things and people around. I envy some of my coworkers. They were born and raised here, and they are surrounded by people and places they've grown up with. The people they deal with (except for me) are mostly people they've known forever, like in Mayberry. I'm like in "The Twilight Zone." That's about the only complaint I have about Barberton: if you weren't born here, you're not at home.
