Growing up in Lake Stevens, Washington, I went from Kindergarten through graduation in 1970, living in the same house that my mother finally passed away in a few years ago...a pertty stable environment compared to the typical. Instead of entering the Air Force (was offered a Commission to Colorado Springs by the late Henry "Scoop" Jackson), I paid my own way to attend Northwest College (now Northwest University), where I majored in Biblical Literature and Minored in Music and Greek. Looking back, I really spent more time majoring in dating lots of girls without commitment, having a good time, and barely keeping my grades up enough to qualify for Choralons and musical travel! In my 4th year I met, then married Debbie Cook, who bore me two sons and a daughter; we served in lay-Pastoral positions for eleven years, then because of my business and involvement in Full Gospel Business Men, I stepped aside from pastoral work and focused more on my growing family.
