Jim's Story
Attended from 1970 through 1975, majoring in Dating-108 and minoring in Cars-112... Naw, I was there to become a preacher, I thought, sow after marrying Debbie COok in the summer of 1974, I served my 5th year at NC in my internship, working with the youth of Everett that the big churches wouldn't invest into, the welfare and street kids. We served at Lowell Community Church for 7-1/2 years, then helped form another church for 4 years, after which we were burned out as pastors. uptcy, and eight years later, divorce... 19 years and three children later...
Anyway, as our marriage was breaking up, I remet the girl I had dated a few months before Debbie, Terri Hiatt (by then, Johnson), and as her marriage was also coming undone, we retied our knot together and have been remarried for 14 years, living at Lake Stevens, Washington. I'm presently working in Juneau, Alaska for a contractor while Terri is maintaining our residence, and we'll decide by summer's end if she'll sell our house and join me up here, or if I'll find another job closer to home.
