What an honor to follow in my mentor Arnie Ginsberg's foot steps. Hey gang hope you are well. I am now on WATD 95.9 FM Sunday nights from 9 PM - 10 PM with my international radio show Rewind. I have done some awesome gigs this year some listed below, I have lost some great true friends over the past few years. Marshall Lytle of Bill Haley's Comets on May 25 we toured a lot together and were great friends. The list goes on Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and others, makes me think of how short life is and to make the best of each day. As I write to you Paul Revere and Bobby Vee are not doing well. Bobby was my idol growing up and we became close friends I am very worried about him. In 2014 I will be back on a couple of cruises in January I will be performing with Mary Wilson from the Supremes, BJ Thomas, Paul Revere & Charlie Thomas & the Drifters. We will be on Princess Cruises leaving from Houston Texas. In September I will be doing a cruise with Andy Kim, the Archie's, Ohio Express, & 1910 Fruit-gum Company.That should be fun, that one leaves from New York. California was awesome, some of you know all the way back in High School I knew the Beach Boys however I think most of you never thought I did. Well my relationship continues with them still. Al Jardine of the Beach Boys came to my event in California, howycool was that. The Beach Boys just finished their world tour and Al thought it would be cool to come hang out at one of my shows. Yes I have been booked to perform in England and I am pretty excited. I have never been and now I get to entertain folks there. I will be there for 2 weeks with Marshall Lytle of Bill Haley's Comets. The Tour is called the "Jimmy Jay Rock Around the Clock Sock Hop". In December I will be performing on a cruise ship with the Classics IV (Traces, Stormy, spooky) The Dubs (Could This Be Magic) The Teenagers (Why Do Fools Fall In Love) and more. We sail from Florida and are out for 7 Nights. In January I Cruise with Paul Revere & the Raiders the 19 Concerts at Sea Cruise this year featuring Davy Jones of the Monkees, The Drifters, & The Buckinghams. The in March I cruise on Royal Caribbean with Phil Dirt & The Doziers a great Rock & Roll Band from the Midwest who have hired me to be there DJ for this 8 night Caribbean cruise. Still doing many weddings and other events. Life is fun, My new song song was released on Amazon.com "Santa's Midnight Ride" with Trade Martin & Jimmy Jay in December. 2010 what a year this has been, now just came back from Indiana doing the Jimmy Jay Rewind Monster Jam with many stars. November 7 I head to Miami to perform on a cruise ship with The Temptations and more. This cruise was the best ever. Jimmy Jay the Host of the Dick Clark Birthday Salute 2009 with Ryan Seacrest (American Idol). We had a great time paying tribute to Dick with some of the biggest stars of our time. I just don't know how I can top this show. For those of you that remember me when I was young it was always about Dick Clark & Bobby Vee. Now I can pick up the phone and call them when ever I want. January 2010 I will be doing the Concerts At Sea Cruise with Bill Medley, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Drifters and the Association. We have a blast every year. This year I also did the premier of a couple of movies and made some new friends with the cast of the Soprano's. I also did House of Blues Boston with Huey Lewis, James Cotton, J Geils, and James MOntgomery. Jimmy Jay (Julian) is now the Host of the Rewind Radio Show, heard in over 54 Countries and 47 states.
