My wife & I changed our last name since "Pehur" was difficult to pronounce. I was a math/sex ed./computer applications teacher in Detroit for 30 yrs. We moved to Ann Arbor in '86 for the "quality of life". We have one child, a son, who was born in ...Expand for more
1984 and goes to U of M, planning to be a research M.D. My wife is a clinical social worker. I taught martial arts (similar to Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do for 15 yrs. My wife & I have made & sold jewelry at juried art fairs in Michigan since 1975. We have both also been doing community organizing since 1971, starting with the Deseg. Order & the lettuce & grape boycotts of the late 60's/early 70's. We'll never "retire"--life is too short and too interesting.
